The medieval bridge of Ucanha, dating back to the 12th century, over the Varosa river. The Tower at one of the entrances was the first in the country to demand toll collection to enter the dominion of the monastery of Santa Maria de Salzedas and was only abolished in 1507 by charter of King Dom Manuel I.
